Marvin and Joyce Watson celebrate 40th anniversary

Marvin L. and Joyce Wallace Watson of West Columbia are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary. They were married Feb. 5, 1977, at Congaree Baptist Church in West Columbia.

They met at a friend’s leap-day wedding in 1976.

Their children are Michelle Watson of West Columbia and Matthew and Coie Watson of Swansea. They have one grandchild, Matthias Watson.
