Danny and Cathy Pierce celebrate 55th anniversary

Howard D. “Danny” and Catherine M. “Cathy” Pierce of Columbia recently celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary. They were married Feb. 6, 1962, in Bristol, Tennessee.

They have one son, Greg Pierce, and daughter-in-law Mandy. They also have a grandson, Wyatt Emerson Pierce, and a granddaughter, Clary Drenon Pierce.

“My parents act today toward each other as they did in 1962,” son Greg writes. “They hold hands, enjoy playing golf together and traveling.”
