Vances and Kingens celebrate 65 years since double wedding

Dan and Tery Vance and Sam and Lina Kingen, all of Columbia, recently celebrated the 65th anniversary of their double wedding. The two couples were married March 3, 1952.

Sisters Lina and Tery Gonzalez married Air Force buddies Dan and Sam in the Gonzalezes’ hometown of Isabella, Puerto Rico.

The Vances’ four children are Lora, Danny, Janice and John. The Kingens’ two children are Kenneth and Henry.

The Vances have six grandchildren, and the Kingens have two.
