Morgan Cato, Nick Rhoney to wed

Donnie and Trisha Cato of Lexington are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Morgan Taylor Cato, to Nicholas Dean Rhoney, son of Rick Rhoney of Wood River, Illinois, and Ken and Amy Clarkson of Lexington.

The bride-elect, a resident of Leesville, is the granddaughter of Donald and Sylvia Cato of Lexington and Eugenia Bayne and the late Don Bayne of Whitmire. She is a 2014 graduate of Lexington High School and is pursuing her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Newberry College. She is employed as a K-3 preschool teacher with Calvary Christian Daycare.

The bridegroom-elect, a resident of Leesville, is the grandson of Leon and Beverly Shealy of Leesville and Jack and Marilyn Armstrong of Suffolk, Virginia. He is a 2012 graduate of Lexington High School and is employed at Golden State Foods.

The couple plans an August wedding in Batesburg-Leesville.
