Johnny and Marjorie Nix celebrate 50th anniversary

Johnny Edward and Marjorie Nettles Nix of Columbia recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married April 6, 1967, in Sumter.

Their children are Mark (Alicia) Nix of Columbia, Missy (Eric) Pusey of Fort Mill, Stephen (Julie) Nix of Washington and Susan Shirley of Columbia.

They have nine grandchildren: Katie, Ansley, Garrett, Livi, Abby, Jamie, Emma, Sarah and Molly.

The Nixes plan to celebrate their anniversary with multiple family dinners.
