Mary Kathryn Taylor, David Olsen marry at the Millstone at Adams Pond

Mary Kathryn Taylor and David Clark Gregory Olsen, both of Jackson, Wyoming, were united in marriage April 15 at the Millstone at Adams Pond in Columbia. Mr. Zach Braddock of Boise, Idaho, a friend of the couple, officiated the 6 o’clock ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Stewart and Dr. and Mrs. Caughman Taylor of Columbia. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Ernestine Drawdy and the late Mr. B.E. Drawdy of Bamberg and Mrs. John Bucy and the late Mr. B.R. Taylor of Rock Hill. A 2007 graduate of the College of Charleston, she is employed as an apparel designer in Jackson.

The groom is the son of Ms. Melissa Gregory and Mr. and Mrs. Dan Olsen of Northfield, Minnesota. He is the grandson of the late Dr. and Mrs. David Gregory of Aimes, Iowa, and the Rev. Floyd Olsen and the late Mrs. Floyd Olsen of New London, Minnesota. A 2009 graduate of Luther College with a bachelor’s degree in biology, he is employed with St. John’s Medical Center in Jackson as an operating room registered nurse.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. Music selected by the couple was played by the EdgeWire string trio.

Maid of honor was Sallie Marchant of Denver. Bridesmaids were Stephanie Buelow, Kelsey Dunne and Katharine Claire Gavin, all of Jackson; Mary Pappas of Charleston; the groom’s sister, Elizabeth Olsen of Portland, Oregon; and the bride’s cousin Taylor Norman of Charlotte, North Carolina. Program attendant was Morgan Wright.

Best man was Drew Albers of Boulder, Colorado. Groomsmen were the groom’s brother, Leif Olsen of Jackson; the bride’s brothers, Gantt Taylor of Charleston and Braxton Taylor of Columbia; and Brent Hagerty, Tim Christensen and Max Thorson, all of Minneapolis.

A reception followed on the grounds of the Millstone at Adams Pond.

After their honeymoon in Spain, the couple will reside in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
