In their own words
Q: How did you meet?
A: We went to high school together but reconnected about four years ago.
Q: Tell us about the proposal.
A: We went camping at a state park in Greenville. After a full day of hiking, we walked out over bridge, and when I turned around, he was down on one knee asking me to spend the rest of my life with him. Another couple happened to be near the bridge at the same time, and they captured everything on video and took a lot of pictures. When we got back to the campsite, he had champagne waiting for us.
Q: What was your favorite part of the wedding day?
A: From the officiant calling Brent “David” and my matron of honor losing Brent’s ring during the ceremony, there were so many things that made the day so much fun and memorable!
Q: Did you have something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue? What were they?
A: Something old was my mother’s wedding veil; I borrowed a bracelet from my mother-in-law; my garter, handmade using lace from a trip to Belgium, was new; something blue was a sapphire necklace from my parents.
