Martha Bratton, William Ralston to wed

Dr. James Rufus Bratton Jr. of Florence announces the engagement of his daughter, Martha Lilla Bratton, to William Corbin Ralston, son of the Rev. Dr. and Mrs. William Hunter Ralston of Charlotte, North Carolina.

The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Mrs. James Rufus Bratton Jr. of Florence and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Asbury Dukes Hoke and the late Dr. and Mrs. James Rufus Bratton of Rock Hill.

The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of the late Maj. Gen. and Mrs. Thomas Goldsborough Corbin of Fremont, North Carolina, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Bradley Ralston of Atlanta.

The couple plan a November wedding in Mount Pleasant.
