Steven and Cindy Osborn celebrate 50th anniversary

Steven E. and Lucinda “Cindy” Osborn of Irmo recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married Aug. 11, 1967, in Indianapolis.

Their children are Christopher and Jennifer Osborn of Alden, Virginia; Christina Osborn Lavett of Columbia; and Alicia and Paul Mashburn of Mount Pleasant.

Their seven grandchildren are Justen, Broghan and Grant Osborn; JP, Cameron and Hannah Grace Mashburn; and Ashton Dula. Their two great-grandchildren are Greyson and Griffen.

Their children hosted cocktails and dinner in honor of their anniversary at the home of Alicia and Paul Mashburn in Mount Pleasant.

Q: How did you meet?

A: Met while Cindy was working at a local hospital. Cindy was 16, and Steve was 18.

Q: What was your favorite part of your wedding day?

A: Just the two of us for dinner and dancing after our reception.

Q: Tell us about a favorite moment in your marriage.

A: We have had a wonderful life together. Things have not always been easy, but we have learned, grown and loved together.
