Jordan McIntosh, Jonathan Man marry
Jordan Rebecca McIntosh and Jonathan Lee Man were joined in marriage at 5 p.m. Saturday, July 8, at the Historic Robert Mills Courthouse in Camden. The Rev. Javen Proctor officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. Steven M. McIntosh of Winnsboro and Ms. Jill N. Jordan of Camden. Her grandparents are Mrs. Faye Napper, the late Mr. Jack Jordan and the late Mr. Harry Napper and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack (Mae) McIntosh of Camden.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Chhaya “Lee’’ (Gail) Man of Camden. His grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Man Hokam Chham Chhea Man of Battambang, Cambodia and Mr. and Mrs. John (Shirley) Pressley of Fort Lawn. He is the owner of Man’s Motorsports in Lancaster.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her parents, wore a formal sleeveless gown of ivory lace with a sweetheart neckline, a satin ribbon belt, a slim column skirt and a chapel train. A long cathedral veil was adorned with matching Alencon lace trim. Her bouquet was white daisies, baby’s breath and pink roses.
The matron of honor was the groom’s sister Chhasity Chham Martin of Lugoff. She wore a chiffon pink Alencon lace formal gown and carried a bouquet of white daisies and pink roses. Bridesmaids were the groom’s sister Halee Brooke Man and Taylor Jenkins, both of Camden, and Kelsey Hughes of Manning. They wore petal pink chiffon dresses in individual styles and carried bouquets of white daisies.
The groom wore a white oxford shirt, black suspenders and dress pants, with white Van shoes and a pink bow tie with a boutonniere of white baby’s breath and a pink rose.
Best man was the groom’s cousin Phalynn Boi Phang of Texas. Groomsmen were Jeremy Martin and Adam Earl, both of Elgin, and Christopher Catauccio of Lugoff. Ushers were the bride’s brother, Jeff McIntosh of Great Falls; Mark Stokes of Camden; and William McClung of Monroe, North Carolina. They wore white oxford shirts, black pants, white Vans and petal pink bow ties with boutonnieres of white daisies and baby’s breath.
The mother of the bride wore a lavender lace sheath dress. The mother of the groom wore a full-length navy sequined gown.
Grandmother of the bride Mrs. Faye Napper wore a formal fuchsia dress. Grandmother of the groom Mrs. Shirley Pressely wore a blue and white paisley dress.
The bridal party’s processional was Bruno Mars’ “Count On Me,” and the wedding march was Christine Perri’s “A Thousand Years.”
The courthouse was decorated with silver satin, lace and satin ribbon. Accents included rustic burlap, lace and linen. A seven-foot arch with pink roses, geraniums and burlap lace enhanced the banquet hall. The formal dining room was decorated with rustic burlap linen and mason jars and crystal vases with white silk geraniums. White lanterns lit the porch, which was festooned with pink and white lace.
A reception followed the ceremony. Guests were served a traditional buffet consisting of chicken, pull pork, ham, Cambodian salad, broccoli salad, cheese, fruit, green beans, and macaroni and cheese. Beverages were Charleston pink punch, lemonade and tea.
The couple had a wedding cupcake tower with pastel pink buttercream frosting over chocolate cake. The couple welcome their guests with dancing. The groom danced with his mother and the bride with her father; then they returned and danced with each other.
After a honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas, the couple will reside in Camden.
