Danny and Libby Fertick celebrate 50th anniversary

Danny and Libby Fertick of West Columbia will soon celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married Dec. 15, 1967, in West Columbia.

Their children are Toni Fertick (Chip) Chewning and (Dawn) Danis Fertick. They have four grandchildren: Dillon and Mason Chewning and Clayton and Emilee Fertick.

The Furticks are celebrating their anniversary by taking their family to Hawaii for Christmas!

Q: How did you meet?

A: Danny drove the school bus that Libby took home in the afternoons.

Q: What was your favorite part of your wedding day?

A: We were married in the same church that we now attend 50 years later!

Q: Tell us about a favorite moment in your marriage.

A: When our grandchildren were born.
