David and Shirley Jacobs celebrate 60th anniversary

David and Shirley Jacobs of Columbia recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. They were married Nov. 24, 1957, in Columbia.

They have two children, Cheryl R. Guyton and Benita F. Jacobs; two grandchildren, Cherelle and Chantelle Guyton; and one great-grandchild, Chloe McKenzie.

Their celebration included a private beach getaway with family.
