Caitlyn Page, Joshua Woods to wed
Mr. and Mrs. William Carey Page of Chapin are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Caitlyn Michelle Page, to Joshua Adam Woods, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen G. Woods.
The bride-elect, a resident of Chapin, is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell M. Faulkenberry of Lancaster and Mr. and Mrs. William E. Page of Irmo. A 2012 graduate of Chapin High School, she graduated magna cum laude from the University of South Carolina College of Nursing in 2016. She is employed with Palmetto Health Baptist Parkridge as a registered nurse.
The bridegroom-elect, a resident of Cato, New York, is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Carl D. Lincoln of Cato and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles G. Woods. The valedictorian of the class of 2012 at Cato-Meridian High School attended the University of South Carolina and is employed with the United States Marine Corps as an active-duty sergeant.
The couple plan a May wedding in Irmo.

Q: How did you meet?
A: We met in the Columbia Hall dorm freshman year at the University of South Carolina.
Q: When did you know your fiance was “the one”?
A: I knew he was the one after reconnecting on Facebook, he drove six hours through the night to visit me on his last day of military leave.
Q: Tell us about the proposal.
A: He surprised me on the Horseshoe at USC with our parents and my best friend there to share in our special moment.
