Laine Huggins, Nathan Jones to wed

Rep. and Mrs. Colonel Cecil “Chip” Huggins Jr. of Columbia are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Laine Trotter Huggins, to Nathan Boyce Jones, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Miller “Larry” Jones of Columbia.

The bride-elect, a resident of Columbia, is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William David Gilstrap and the late Mr. and Mrs. Colonel Cecil Huggins. She is a 2017 cum laude graduate of the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She is pursuing a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at Columbia International University.

The bridegroom-elect, a resident of Columbia, is the grandson of Mrs. Oliver Boyce Jones and the late Mr. Jones and the late Mr. and Mrs. Billy Keith Fallaw. He is a 2017 graduate of USC with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting and finance. He is employed with Palmetto GBA.

A March wedding is planned in Columbia.
