3 Midlands debutantes presented at Colonial Ball in Charleston

The 23rd South Carolina Society, Sons of the American Revolution Colonial Ball was held Dec. 16 in the Gold Ballroom of the Francis Marion Hotel in Charleston.

The Presentation of Debutantes followed a receiving line and seating for dinner.

A Debutante Reception Dinner was held the prior evening at the Carolina Yacht Club.

Local debutantes presented were:

Miss Lauren Pinckney Layden, whose patriot is Col. Isaac Hayne. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick John Layden, she was escorted by Mr. Thomas Gray Barr.

Miss Frances Louise Sadler, whose patriot is Col. Thomas Neel. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Marion Sadler, she was escorted by Mr. John Marion Sadler Jr.

Miss Sarah Virginia Dixon, whose patriot is Pvt. Jacob Hiller. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Mark Dixon, she was escorted by Zachary Tyler Bush.
