Julia Rhines, Edwin Jeter III to wed

Mr. and Mrs. Mark Nelson Rhines of Huntersville, North Carolina, announce the engagement of their daughter, Julia Boyd Rhines, to Mr. Edwin Russell Jeter III, both of Charlotte. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Russell Jeter Jr. of Columbia.

Miss Rhines is the granddaughter of Mrs. Harvey Hinton Chandler of Gainesville, Georgia, and the late Mr. Chandler and Mrs. William George Rhines of Kittery, Maine, and the late Mr. Rhines. The bride-elect graduated from North Mecklenburg High School and received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is pursuing a master’s degree in business administration from Queens University in Charlotte and is employed with Carolinas HealthCare System as a business manager.

Mr. Jeter is the grandson of Mrs. George Benjamin Rawls and the late Mr. Rawls and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Russell Jeter, all of Columbia. The groom-elect graduated from A.C. Flora High School and received a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in finance from the University of Florida. He is employed with Wells Fargo in Charlotte as an investment banking associate.

An April wedding is planned in Charlotte.
