Amanda Peters, Lance Lipscomb to wed

Lynne Brigide Peters and Michael Gerard Peters of Baltimore are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Elizabeth Peters, to Lance Elliott Lipscomb, son of Diane Elliott Lipscomb and Stephen Earl Lipscomb of Columbia.

The bride-elect, a resident of Charleston, is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Aldo Paul Brigide of DuBois, Pennsylvania, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Donald Joseph Peters of Baltimore. She is the step-granddaughter of Mrs. Patricia Ralston Brigide of Baltimore. A 2005 alumna of Maryvale Preparatory School, she graduated cum laude in 2009 from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in international business and accounting with a minor in Italian. A certified public accountant, she is employed with Gildan USA as financial reporting manager.

The bridegroom-elect, a resident of Charleston, is the grandson of the Mrs. Jean Pittman Elliott and the late Mr. Ervin Watson Elliott of Greenville and Mrs. Claudia Raye Lipscomb and the late Mr. Earl Lipscomb of Gaffney. A 2006 alumnus of Heathwood Hall, he graduated cum laude in 2010 from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in international business and finance with a minor in Chinese. He is employed with Benefit First as a business analyst.

The couple plan an April wedding in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
