Lauren Trammell, Dan Reach to wed
Jerry Burton Trammell and Eleanor Scruggs Trammell of Sumter are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Elizabeth Trammell, to William Daniel Reach, son of Beth Brennan Reach of Greenville and the late Dr. Russell Paul Reach.
The bride-elect, a resident of Mount Pleasant, is the granddaughter of Betty Horton Martin of Anderson; the late Redus Robert Martin of Anderson; the late Mr. and Mrs. Bailey Austin Trammell of Anderson; and the late Carroll Proctor Scruggs of Valdosta and Helen, Georgia. A graduate of Charleston Southern University, she is employed with the Medical University of South Carolina.
The bridegroom-elect, a resident of Greenville, is the grandson of Marjorie Barrow Reach of Waycross, Georgia, and the late Roy Wheeler Reach and the late William Daniel Brennan and Patricia Konerman Brennan of Cincinnati. A graduate of Bob Jones University, he is employed with Razorleaf as software developer.
The couple plan an April wedding in Charleston.

Q: How did you meet?
A: Tinder.
Q: When did you know your fiance was “the one”?
A: When I found out he puts family first and loves animals like I do.
Q: Tell us about the proposal.
A: He planned a weekend at Chateau Elan, set up a private wine tasting for us, and then at the end of the tasting, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. He had our room filled with rose petals, had chocolate candy, Champagne, and a dozen roses on the table. It was very romantic.
