Lindsay Griffin, William Beard to wed

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Griffin of Sumter are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsay Kate Griffin, to William Rhett Beard, son of Linda Beard and the late Thurmon Dargan Beard.

The bride-elect, a resident of Charleston, is a 2010 graduate of Sumter High School and a 2014 graduate of the College of Charleston. She is employed with Charleston County School District as a math teacher at Haut Gap Middle School.

The bridegroom-elect, a resident of Charleston, is a 2002 graduate of Laurence Manning Academy and a 2007 graduate of Central Carolina Technical College. He is employed with Charleston Water System.

The couple plan a June wedding in Moncks Corner.
