Taylor Munn, Thomas White to wed

Mr. and Mrs. James Rhett Munn Jr. of Sumter are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Taylor Marie Munn, to Thomas McConnell White, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Thomas White of Sumter.

The bride-elect, a resident of Columbia, is the granddaughter of Mrs. Margaret Edwards Davis of Sumter; Mr. and Mrs. John Wayne Davis Sr. of Bishopville; the late Mrs. Mary Lou Munn of Sumter; and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Rhett Munn Sr.

A 2010 graduate of Wilson Hall, she earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of South Carolina in 2014 and her master’s degree in counselor education from The Citadel Graduate College in 2016. She is employed with Lexington County School District One as a school counselor at Pelion Middle School.

The bridegroom-elect, a resident of Sumter, is the grandson of the late Dr. and Mrs. Charles Rutledge Holmes of Columbia and Mrs. James Maurice White and the late Mr. White of Sumter.

A 2009 graduate of Wilson Hall, he earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from USC in 2013. He is employed with NuIdea in Sumter as a sales representative.

The couple plan a June wedding in Sumter.
