Carley Ann Drye of Salisbury, North Carolina, and Jonathan Scott Bloomfield of Lynchburg, Virginia, were united in marriage at 5 p.m. June 25 at First Presbyterian Church in Salisbury. Dr. James Dunkin officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of John Allen Drye and Lesleigh Clevenger Drye of Salisbury. She is the granddaughter of Doris Clevenger of Columbia and Naomi H. Drye of Salisbury. She is a 2015 graduate of Liberty University and is enrolled in medical school at Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine.

The groom is the son of Paul and Sharon Bloomfield of Lynchburg. He is the grandson of Mr. & Mrs. Ted Prevett, London, Ontario. He is a 2006 graduate of Liberty University, and he is employed as CEO at Equity Enterprises, Inc.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

Maid of honor was Alexandra Lane Drye of Salisbury. Bridesmaids were Deborah Chervin of Plains City, Ohio; Hannah Coulter of Salisbury; Marlena Murphy of Charlotte, North Carolina; Margaret Riel of Lynchburg; and Laura Tovar of Lynchburg. Scarlett Clevenger of Lewisville, North Carolina, was junior bridesmaid, and Julianna Whitley of Cleveland, North Carolina, was flower girl.

Best man was Brock Smith of Naples, Florida. Groomsmen were Adam Drye of Salisbury; Andrew McCombe of Chatham, Ontario; Barry Boswell of Ormond Beach, Florida; Kyle Scheren of Lynchburg; and Blair Bennett of Lynchburg. Jeremy Clevenger of Lewisville, North Carolina, was ring bearer.

A reception followed at the Historic Salisbury Depot.

After their honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Lynchburg.
