Denny and Diana Gibbons celebrate 50th anniversary

Denny and Diana Gibbons of Columbia recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married July 15, 1966, at Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church in Lake City.

Their children are Brad and Susan Gibbons of Snellville, Georgia, and Craig and Buffy Campbell of Chapin. The Gibbonses have two grandchildren.

They will celebrate by flying to Las Vegas in September and driving to the Grand Canyon and other scenic parks, monuments and places of interest for 10 days with their family. The trip will “celebrate life together and admire and worship God’s handiwork on this earth,” Denny Gibbons said.

God has blessed their marriage, they say, and to him they give all the praise, honor and thanksgiving.
