Della Thomason celebrates 100th birthday

Della Cain Thomason will celebrate her 100th birthday with family at the home of her niece Gwen Adams in Laurens.

Della was born Aug. 3, 1916, in Laurens. She was married to Milton E. Thomason, who died in 1979.

She is the mother of three children: Cain (Anita) Thomason, Robert (Patsy) Thomason, and Carol (Haze) Elliott.

She has eight grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
