Robert and Gertrude Corley celebrate 40th anniversary

Robert and Gertrude Corley met on a blind date after both had lost their spouses.

Now, the Lexington couple are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary. They were married Aug. 7, 1976, in Cayce.

Their children are LeAnn Meetze, Shirley Bigony, Bobby Corley, Marian Miller and Linda LaTorre.

They have 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
