Ashlee Price, Maurice Huttenlocker marry
Ashlee Brunson Price and Maurice Lee Huttenlocker, both of Columbia, were united in marriage Aug. 6 at Bethel United Methodist Church in Columbia. The Rev. Luther Rickenbaker officiated the 5:30 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Tom and Paulette Price of Columbia. She is the granddaughter of Adelyn Price of Columbia and William and JoAnn Reiff of Souderton, Pennsylvania. She earned a bachelor’s degree in hotel, restaurant and tourism management from the University of South Carolina, and she is employed as a customer service representative with Protective Packaging.
The groom is the son of John and Neena Alexander of Troy, Missouri. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Missouri and a Master of Science from Middle Tennessee School of Anesthesia. He is employed as a certified registered nurse anesthetist at Palmetto Health Baptist Parkridge.
The bride was escorted by her father. Organist Bill Webb provided music.
Matron of honor was Memory Holland Ridgeway of Mauldin. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Ann Curran, Allison Marie Price, Sarah Alexander Adams and Rebekah Keith Adams, all of Columbia, and Jordan Phillips Huttenlocker of Western Springs, Illinois. Hannah Elizabeth Curran and Anna Katherine Adams, both of Columbia, were junior bridesmaids, and Lilly Elizabeth Gravis of Columbia was flower girl.
Best man was Martin Lee Huttenlocker of Western Springs, Illinois. Groomsmen were Michael Lee Huttenlocker of Troy, Missouri; Marc Lee Huttenlocker of Rocky Mount, Missouri; Daniel Gerard Sanner of Chapin; Jonathon Allen Evans of Irmo; and Justin Robert Gravis and Gary James Heady Jr., both of Columbia. Harrison Grant Huttenlocker of Western Springs, Illinois, was ring bearer.
Program attendants were Alice Price Adams and Jason Williford Adams, both of Columbia, and Jamie Lynn Huttenlocker of Troy, Missouri.
A reception followed at 701 Whaley.
After their honeymoon on the island of Bora Bora in French Polynesia, the couple will reside in Columbia.

Q. How did you meet?
A. We met at Liberty On the Lake in Irmo. Ashlee was a restaurant manager, and Maurice was a regular patron. Our paths crossed, and the rest was history.
Q. When did you know your fiance was “the one”?
A. After our first date at Pearlz Oyster Bar in the Vista.
Q. Tell us about the proposal.
A. The bride’s family spends Thanksgiving on Hilton Head Island. The couple was walking down the beach a couple days after Thanksgiving, and he popped the question.
Q. How did you choose the church where you will be married?
A. The bride grew up attending Bethel United Methodist Church.
