Kenneth and Anna Marie Christley celebrate 50th anniversary

Kenneth and Anna Marie Christley of West Columbia recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married Aug. 6, 1966, in Munhall, Pennsylvania.

Their children are Kevin Christley of Colorado and Kimberley and Timothy Theuerl of Lexington. They have three grandchildren: Amanda, Alex and Alden Theuerl.

The Christleys marked their anniversary with a vow renewal on Waikiki Beach in Hawaii and a celebratory dinner at Blue Marlin.

The couple’s good friends, Marlene and Fred Laughton of Australia, joined them in Hawaii. Anna Marie Christley’s sister, Diane Heard of Florida, traveled to Columbia to share the special day with the couple.

A. Attending night classes at Point Park College in Pittsburgh.

A. Sharing our day with friends and family.

Q. What do you wish you’d known your first year of marriage?

A. Not to worry so much because God has a way of providing answers.

A. Being blessed with two children.
