Donald and Lorene Nagy celebrate 50th anniversary

Donald Lee and Joan Lorene Nagy of West Columbia recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married Aug. 27, 1966 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Their children are Sherry Lynn (Todd) Jackson and Barbara Ann Nutter, both of Sumter. They have six grandchildren: Austin “AJ” Jackson and Megan Nutter, both of Sumter, and Kloey, Tabitha, Cameron and Daniel Simons of Arlington, Washington.

They celebrated with a steak dinner at Longhorn Steak House with family.

Donald Nagy is retired from Shaw Air Force Base after 26 years. “Now, my wife and I are taking life easy,” he writes.

A: At a lounge in Great Falls, Montana.

A: Going to Idaho.

A: Our first child.
