Brigitte Surette, Brian Ybarra marry

Brigitte Nichole Surette and Brian Richard Ybarra, both of Irmo, were united in marriage Sept. 3 at Wintergreen Woods in Lexington.

The bride is the daughter of Thomas J. Surette and Renee R. Surette of Irmo. She is the granddaughter of Howard A. Surette and Elsie M. Surette of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Gwendolyn J. Russell of Hope Mills, North Carolina. She earned a Bachelor of Science in experimental psychology from the University of South Carolina, and she is pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching in elementary education at USC. She is employed at Party City.

The groom is the son of Toney and Linda Knight of Columbia. He is the grandson of Libby Bradley of Lexington. He graduated from Dutch Fork High School in Irmo, and he is employed with Babies R Us in Columbia.

The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her father.

Maid of honor was Danielle Ashley Surette of Irmo. Bridesmaids were April Elaine Garner of Blythewood and Erica Andrea Knight of Columbia. Jayla Knight of Columbia was flower girl.

Best man was Chase Dale of Irmo. Groomsmen were Anthony Ybarra of Kuwait and David Stanley of Irmo.

A reception followed at Wintergreen Woods.

After their honeymoon in Emerald Isle, North Carolina, the couple will reside in Irmo.
