Aiken officials investigating death of Warrenville woman two days after Augusta Road collision
AIKEN - The Aiken County Coroner's Office is investigating the death of 70-year-old Lorraine Crawford from Warrenville following a two-vehicle accident.
The accident occurred July 7 at approximately 2:46 p.m. on Augusta Road at Old Aiken Road.
Crawford was a passenger in a northbound 2025 Kia Forte that rear-ended a 2024 Chrysler Pacifica, the coroner's office said in a news release.
Crawford was transported to WellStar MCG where she died from her injuries at 1:38 a.m. on July 9.
The coroner's office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol are continuing with the investigation.
