Stringfellow to lead Columbia’s YMCA

Kurt Stringfellow has been named chief executive officer of the YMCA of Columbia. Stringfellow has been serving as president and CEO of the Sarasota Family YMCA in Florida since 2012. His 29-year YMCA career started as an instructor at a Y in Moultrie, Ga. “Kurt embraces the same values that the Y stands for: caring, honesty, respect, responsibility and faith,” said Bill Price, YMCA of Columbia board president and chief volunteer officer.
