Colonial Trust recognized as Centennial Business
Secretary of State Mark Hammond has recognized Colonial Trust Co. as a South Carolina Centennial Business. This honor is reserved for domestic business entities that have been on file with the Secretary of State’s Office for 100 years or more. Hammond honored Colonial Trust Company at its headquarters in Spartanburg. Colonial Trust Company, the only private trust company in South Carolina, was incorporated on August 1, 1913.
