Shaw named state probation agent of the year

Hunter Shaw, a Richland County probation and parole agent, is the 2016 Agent of the Year for the S.C. Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services. Shaw is one of more than 400 field agents for the department, which supervises more than 28,000 criminal offenders in South Carolina. He works out of the department’s office on Gregg Street. Shaw, an agent for three years, is a graduate of the University of South Carolina.
