Which J.C. Penney stores in SC are closing?

J.C. Penney on Friday announced that two South Carolina stores will be closing.

The company announced in February that it would close up to 140 stores to cut costs. On Friday, a list of 138 stores to be closed was released.

In South Carolina, J.C. Penney stores at the Citadel Mall in Charleston and at the Town ‘N Country shopping center in Easley will close.

The company said most of the 138 stores will close in June.
