Steven and Claudia Long have been named South Carolina Farm Bureau Federation (SCFB) Young Farmer and Rancher award winners for the 2015-2016 year. The Longs, from Lexington, received the Excellence in Agriculture Award, which is given to young farmers and ranchers who actively contribute and grow through their involvement in agriculture, their leadership ability and participation in Farm Bureau and other organizations. Steven was also elected the 2015 SCFB Young Farmer and Rancher chair.
