What to expect as S.C. tax deadline approaches

Tax Day is a week away. The average South Carolina filer can expect to wait a few days to a few weeks to get their state income tax refunds if they file by the April 15 deadline, according to the S.C. Department of Revenue. Here’s a snapshot of state tax bills, refunds, number of returns and filing preferences for calendar 2013 and 2014.
