Midlands People & Achievements: Quackenbush Architects and Planners

Quackenbush Architects and Planners in Columbia has earned an Adaptive Reuse/Renovation Merit Award for re-purposing a mid-20th century retail building in Columbia into a contemporary office space for the financial services firm Abacus Planning Group. The renovated building, at 2500 Devine St., makes use of an open floor plan and enhanced day-lighting and views. The award was presented by the American Institute of Architects South Carolina at its 2015 Design Awards Celebration.
