Midlands People & Achievements: Elizabeth Phibbs

Elizabeth Phibbs has been named executive director of the South Carolina Association of School Administrators (SCASA) effective May 1. Prior to joining SCASA, Phibbs served at the S.C. Department of Education for 15 years in the areas of career and technology, blue ribbon schools, education policy and leadership development. Phibbs is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and Columbia College. She was selected unanimously by the SCASA board.
