Russell Pate has been named a 2015 Lifetime Achievement Award Award recipient by the President’s Council on fitness, sports and nutrition. The award is given to individuals whose careers have greatly contributed to the advancement or promotion of physical activity, fitness, sports and nutrition-related programs nationwide. Pate is a professor of exercise science in the University of South Carolina’s Arnold School of Public Health.
