Providence Hospitals has earned an A grade in hospital safety from The Leapfrog Group. Providence is the only Columbia hospital in Columbia to earn such a rating.

Jacob Born of Chappell, Smith and Arden in Columbia has been named president of the Charleston School of Law Alumni Association Columbia Area Chapter. Born’s practice focuses on personal injury, motor vehicle accidents, nursing home abuse and more.
