Midlands People & Achievements: Richland County

Richland County has been officially named the first “Connected” certified capital community in the United States. The county also released a technology action plan that offers steps to access to broadband Internet countywide. With the certifciation, Richland County is the fifth and largest county in the state to achieve the certification and joins Abbeville, Anderson, Greenwood and Lexington.
