Colony House building bites the dust

Workers on Tuesday were demolishing the former Colony House furniture store that for decades was in east Columbia along Garners Ferry Road and across from Woodhill mall. Plans for the the site of the nearly 75-year-old building that had been vacant for several years are not clear.
