Aviation firm bringing more than 70 jobs to Goose Creek

GOOSE CREEK, S.C. – Another aviation company is locating in South Carolina where Boeing has a major manufacturing plant.

Impresa Aerospace announced Thursday that it is establishing a manufacturing plant in Goose Creek and expects to create 72 jobs during the next five years.

The company makes parts for everything from commercial jets to business aircraft and military planes. The company has major contracts with Boeing.

Impresa is acquiring the existing Dynamic Solutions building in Goose Creek for its new plant. The total amount of the investment was not released.

Boeing assembles its 787 Dreamliners in nearby North Charleston.
