Fast-growing grocery chain is opening in Camden. Here are the details
A popular, affordable grocery store now has another location in the Midlands.
ALDI opened a new store in Camden on Thursday at 2209 West Dekalb Street.
“At our new Camden ALDI store, customers will see why so many already choose ALDI for their weekly grocery shopping,“ Krysta Cearley, regional vice president for ALDI, said in a news release. “As shoppers look to stretch their dollar further, we’re excited to open this new location and bring more people a high-quality grocery selection they want and need at the lowest possible price.”
The store will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
ALDI, the fastest-growing retailer in the country, has a handful of other location in the Midlands, including one on Garners Ferry Road in Columbia and another on Augusta Road in West Columbia, and is one of several dozen across South Carolina.
The latest opening in Camden brings ALDI one step closer to its goal of having 3,200 stores by the end of 2028.
According to a news release, Camden shoppers can expect a typical ALDI grocery experience, including organic meats, fresh produce, sustainable seafood, standout cheese and wine selections, along with ALDI-exclusive brands.
