Area home sales rebound
Home sales in the Columbia area increased nearly 14 percent in August compared to the same month in 2014, according to the South Carolina Realtors Association.
Nearly 1,100 homes were sold in August, the association said. For the year, home sales in 2015 have increased 19.4 percent through August.
