People and Achievements: Dorothy Weaver

Dorothy Weaver has been appointed deputy director of communications and marketing for the state Department of Employment and Workforce. She has worked in Columbia communications for nearly two decades in agency, nonprofit and corporate roles. Most recently, Weaver served as the director of communications for the Climatic Corporation, a distribution company. She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Masters of Mass Communications.
