Businesses donate to S.C. disaster relief

The following businesses have made donations to help South Carolinians recover from this week’s heavy rains and flooding:

▪ Diageo North America donated about 37,400 bottles of water to the United Way of the Midlands in Columbia.

▪ AT&T donated $50,000 to the American Red Cross to support its disaster relief and storm recovery efforts.

▪ TD Bank donated $75,000 to the American Red Cross and $25,000 to a local food bank. The donation includes $50,000 to Central South Carolina American Red Cross; $25,000 to Harvest Hope Food Bank; $12,500 to Lowcountry South Carolina American Red Cross; $12,500 to Eastern South Carolina American Red Cross.
