Midlands People & achievements: Rick Mendoza

Nexsen Pruet bankruptcy law specialist Rick Mendoza has been elected to the American College of Bankruptcy. The college recognizes “exceptional bankruptcy professionals for their work, their contributions to the administration of justice, their public service and their integrity,” according to a news release. Mendoza also has received certification from the South Carolina Supreme Court, serving as chairman of the Bankruptcy and Debtor-Creditor Law Specialization Advisory Board. Outside of his legal work, Mendoza serves as chairman of the board of trustees for the Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina and on the board of trustees for the S.C. Center for Fathers and Families.
