Midlands people & achievements: Scott Graves

Scott Graves, currently BlueChoice HealthPlan president, will become president BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina’s private business division president effective Jan. 1, the company said. Graves succeeds Jim Deyling, who in July announced plans to retire at the end of the year. BlueCross BlueShield selected Graves after conducting a national search for its next president. Graves who began his career at BlueCross in 1998 at Companion HealthCare, now called BlueChoice HealthPlan.
