Bar and grill set to open near Columbia airport

For those looking for a new eatery and bar in West Columbia, The Daily Phoenix Bar and Grill is set to open at 650 Cherokee Lane next week at the Super 8 hotel. Located near the Columbia Metropolitan Airport, The Daily Phoenix is named in honor of Columbia's first daily newspaper. The restaurant menu even depicts the style of the 1865 newspaper and features items such as wings, chicken sandwiches, hotdogs and nachos.
