Midlands People & Achievements: Nelson Lindsay

Nelson Lindsay has joined the S.C. Department of Commerce as the director of global business development. A S.C. certified economic developer, Lindsay was Richland County’s first director of economic development. He was director of economic development for Kershaw County for more than 14 years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Wofford College and a master’s degree in public administration degree from the University of South Carolina.
